I found that I was getting a somewhat cryptic error message at startup. \"Error:Partition 1 on harddisk 1 is not UNKNOWN.The system is FAT16Do you want to correct the error?\"Although I was not sure what that meant, clicked yes and got similar messages for the other two partitions. I always used to use an older version of fdisk that came with windows 98/ME on a floppy. But when I bought a one terrabyte hard drive and tried to fdisk it with my old version, I found that it only recognised half of the terrabyte.So I downloaded your Super fdisk 1.0 version and not only could I fdisk the whole 1 terrabyte partition, I also made a boot cd disk and threw the old floppy drive away.Its easy to use, easy to see what your doing.And less confusing if you have more than one h/drive.Brian Australia.

I like the Partition Master Home Edition. It is easy to use and works well with W XP. Creating new partition was a breeze. No problems so far!!!!!

Yes,it works! So far I have converted disks from dynamic to MBR no problem. Still learning what all it will do.

Very good piece of software. It did the work really well. The only problem that I had was that, because I chose to make the cloned partition bootable, XXCLONE made changes to the MBR (master boot record), which made it impossible for me to access my Ubuntu section. As a result of this I had to reinstall my Ubuntu grub, which was quite an ordeal. I suggest that XXCLONE adds the cloned bootable section to the MBR, but not change it completely. Otherwise, everything else went without a hitch.

It worked out great

This software saved me from losing over 500gb of data. Thus, i must say it's a STUPID idea not to have this software on your machine at all times.Get a few harddrives, and clone your machine occassionally using XXCLONE - you will never have to worry about your computer's reliability ever again.

saved me hundreds of dollars! I was looking at acronis server edition -- I wanted to clone my system disk so that I could quickly reboot if my system disk failed. I now have a cloned, spun-down disk in a SATA bay ready to be powered up and rebooted if my server fails -- perfect. OK for moving your appli to large disk but... I have used xxclone to move my previous Windows XP system to a larger disk (300Gbytes).Globally I finally made it run, but I had to face some issues, some of them not really related to xxclone but mandatory for the achievement of the move :- xxclone offers the ability to move from FAT 32 to NTFS, but take care! the security features associated to NTFS, won't follow, then the only mode for running your new system will be to give administrator right to all users .... or to try to fine tune security right (I gave up). I am having problems with the partition master. I am sure that it is because of the failed blocks on the HD. How can I remove the master petition (copyed and cleaned) and then tewst the rest of the disk using the Master petition section then rewriting back to the HD. If I cant do this then i will have to wait until I can but another HD and I may loose all information on this HD. This HD does have bad blocks and errors. These need to be fixed not just eliminated. Give me some answers please.
